Bed-Lite is an odour control system that is a natural, environmentally friendly waste management system for stabled horses. Bed-Lite eliminates ammonia odours by capturing the ammonia and its odour through the thousands of microscopic pores and channels of each zeolite granule. Once trapped inside the crystalline structure the ammonia is neutralised by a chemical reaction. The negative charge of the Bed-Lite’s zeolite granules simply pulls positively charged odours, moisture and other pollutants into its honeycomb structure.

Bed-Lite has a pH value of 7.4, it is not only safe if accidentally ingested by animals, and it is very beneficial to their overall health.   Bed-Lite can be safely handled with bare hands, around feed and water.

Application:

Bed-Lite is provided with an application scoop.

 1. Prepare and spread with fresh bedding material (we recommend Whitstone Animal Bedding
    Straw Pellets)

2. Sprinkle Bed-Lite generous in an even cover over the fresh bedding material.

3. Mix the Bed-Lite with the fresh bedding for an even spread of Bed-Lite throughout the fresh
    bedding material.

4. While the stable is in use additional Bed-Lite can be applied to areas where faeces and urine has accumulated, this
     will prolong the use of the bedding material.

 

Fertiliser Bonus:

1. When disposing by spreading as a fertiliser, the used Bed-Lite’s zeolite will enhance soil and boost plant growth

2. The absorbed ammonia that is neutralised is gradually released as nitrogen to plants

3. Ammonia and pollutants are not leached into ground water
